Ashes to Dust

Thats the final title of the film. i feel it works very nicely with the theme and the tourney involved.

I am still looking for actors. Not only do i need a male lead, a female to play the males sister, an older lady for the mother and finally a whole load of people to act as the attendees of the funeral. Needless to say these are the most important people as their presence will have to guide the lead actor's emotions.

Short Feature

Here is the first major hurdle...making a short film. but its the hurdle ive been looking forward to for a looooong time now. so here is our chance.

The film is about a young man returning home for his father's funeral which has come at a time when England's cricket team finally has the chance to beat Australia in the Ashes, the tournament that the young man and his father watched avidly in is childhood. it is the tournament that he grew up, n now that it is bearing fruit, his father is not present to share it with him.

One of the first things to be looked after is the crew. We require assistance in the following areas:

1 Lighting (photographers professional or amateur are all invited)
2 Location sound recordist
3 boom operators
4 post production sound design
5 Technical crew to look after shot placement, rehearsals and getting shoot organised.
